The city is located 25 miles northwest of Gantt Lake, a 2,700-acre reservoir that is a popular destination for anglers and watersport enthusiasts. The lake features excellent fishing, boating, kayaking, canoeing, swimming, and waterskiing, and offers picnicking and waterfront camping along the lake’s 21 miles of pristine shoreline.

Located just 20 miles to the southeast is Point A Lake, a popular fishing and swimming destination situated on the outskirts of the city of Andalusia. The lake is home to Sweet Home Alabama Campground & RV Park, a full-service camping facility that features lakeside camping, picnic and playground facilities, kayak and canoe rentals, and a designated swimming beach.
